Naturalmente, durante a minha estadia no Japão provei e saboreei inúmeras coisas deliciosas, que até se tornam difícil de descrever, pois a intensidade de sabores é de tal forma explosiva que todas as nossas pupilas gustativas parecem desdobrarem-se em inúmeras mais para puderem saborear com exactidão tudo aquilo que lhes oferecemos.
No meio de toda esta aventura de sabores, houve sempre tempo para uma paragem fora de mão asiática para testar o "ocidental"... e que mais de "ocidental" há do que o típico hambúrguer ou melhor dito o burger no pão acompanhado com as batatinhas.
Uma manhã, na pressa de apanhar um comboio, parei pela MOS BURGUER (a cadeia de restaurantes fast food do Japão), esta foi fundada em 1972, por Satoshi Sakurada em Tóquio. Desde aí a MOS abriu em Taiwan em 1991, e em toda a região Ásia-Pacífico. Segundo o site da MOS a partir do final de Março de 2015, tinham mais de 1700 restaurantes, incluindo os restaurantes no Japão, na Ásia, no Pacífico e na Oceania.
Infelizmente a MOS não se encontra na Europa... e infelizmente porquê?!
Não se trata somente de uma cadeia de fast food como a McDonald's ou a Burguer King?! (salvo a publicidade destes dois "monstrinhos" sobejamente conhecidos!)
Qual é a diferença então entre a cadeia Nipónica com as Americanas, que dominam todo o mercado globalmente?!
A grande diferença está obviamente nos produtos usados, muitos de nós já provamos os produtos das cadeias americanas e sabemos ao que sabem, a textura que têm e tudo mais, a maior partes das vezes ficamos até na duvida se aquela coisa prensada que nos servem dentro do pão é mesmo carne ou algo que temo sequer imaginar o que seja.
Não sou muito apologista das fast foods, mas como todos sou "pecadora" e há sempre aquela escapadela para a pizza ou kebab mais próximo quando a preguiça é mais que muita!
Na MOS a "preguiça" de andar mais uns quantos metros valeu a pena, visto que ali os produtos têm uma qualidade superior, aparentam ser mesmo frescos e têm sinalizado a zona de onde provêem, (pelo que me foi dito é rotativo, durante a minha estadia, aconteceu infelizmente o terramoto de Kumamoto e os produtos eram dessa zona)... dito isto, quase pareço um comercial ou que estou a fazer publicidade ao local, mas a verdade é que fiquei surpreendida pela positiva.
O atendimento simpático, e a forma de servir demonstraram logo uma diferença notável para qualquer restaurante do género.

Se um dia forem ao Japão, quiserem um break da comida japonesa ou mesmo somente porque estão com pressa de chegar a algum lado, aproveitem e experimentem a MOS melhor que a maioria das fast foods ocidentais.

Naturally, during my stay in Japan I tasted and enjoyed many delicious things, some of those even become difficult to describe, because the intensity of flavors is so explosive that all our taste buds seem to unfold in to many more so we can enjoy with accuracy all that we offer them.
Amid of all this adventure of flavors, there was always time for a break of Asian food hand to test the "western" ... and what more "western" there is than the typical hamburger or better said the burger inside a loaf with the french fries.
One morning, in the rush to catch a train, I stopped by MOS BURGUER (a chain of Japanese fast food restaurants), it was founded in 1972 by Satoshi Sakurada in Tokyo. Since then the MOS opened in Taiwan in 1991, and throughout the Asia Pacific region. According to the website of MOS from the end of March 2015, they had more than 1,700 restaurants, including restaurants in Japan, Asia, the Pacific and Oceania.
Unfortunately MOS is not found in Europe... unfortunately, why ?!
Is not only a fast food chain like McDonald's or Burger King ?! (No advertising for these two well known "monsters"!)
What is the difference then between the Nippon chain versus the US ones, which dominate the entire market globally ?!
The big difference is obviously in the used products, many of us have tasted the products of the American chains and know what they taste like, the texture they have and everything else, most of the time we even doubt if that thing pressed that they serve us inside the bread is really meat or something that I fear to even imagine what it is.
I'm not very a big apologist of fast foods, but like all of us I am "sinful" and there's always that escapade to the nearest pizza or kebab when laziness is more than a lot!
In MOS the "laziness" of walking a few more meters was worth it, as the products there have superior quality, and appear to be very fresh and are signaled with the zone in which they were grown, (from what I was told is rotating from several places in the prefecture, so local food, during my stay, unfortunately happened the earthquake of Kumamoto, the products where from that area)... after said that I almost look like a TV commercial or that I'm doing publicity for the place, but the truth is that I was surprised by the positive.
The friendly service, and how they serve soon showed a remarkable difference to any kind of fast food restaurants.
If one day you go to Japan, and want to take a break from Japanese food or even only because you are in a hurry to get somewhere, enjoy and experience the MOS better than most western fast foods restaurants.
